Brie Larson debuts her new Disney Plus series wearing a stunning sheer ensemble

At the Los Angeles premiere of her new Disney Plus docuseries Growing Up, Oscar-winning Captain Marvel star Brie Larson attracted attention. In a sparkling nude illusion jumpsuit with glittering rhinestones from head to toe and a jeweled Valentino belt, the actor displayed her superhero movie physique.

In order to better understand “the challenges, triumphs, and complexities of adolescence,” Larson’s Growing Up, which consists of ten stories, each focused on a single person, blurs the distinction between fiction and documentary filmmaking. The topics covered in the episodes include body image problems, disability, people of color’s experiences in STEM fields, and gender identity.

The eight-minute experimental augmented reality short Remembering, which premieres today but isn’t currently visible on the service, also stars Larson and is another upcoming Disney project. In this Elijah Allan-Blitz-directed film, Brie Larson plays a young writer who reconnects with her inner child to spark her imagination.

And of course, there is Larson’s work for the MCU. The last time we saw her, Ms. Marvel appeared to be warped into Kamala Khan’s bedroom. The setup suggests that Khan and Carol Danvers have switched places, so The Marvels will probably start that way next year. Though we’re most eager to watch Larson and Iman Vellani start bouncing off one another as Kamala attempts to overcome her fangirl fervor, The Marvels is expected to be one of the larger-scale MCU films and have a massive cosmic scope.

Remembering should be available later today, and The Marvels will debut on July 28, 2023, all on Disney Plus. Growing Up is already available.
