Joe Lycett React ‘Smashed it babe’ After Liz Truss Announced As Next Prime Minister

Following his wild appearance on Sunday With Laura Kuenssberg, Joe Lycett has taken the lead in comments about Liz Truss‘s appointment as the UK’s new prime minister.

In the contest to lead the Conservative Party, Ms. Truss defeated Rishi Sunak, gaining a total of 81,326 votes from the party’s members to Mr. Sunak’s 60,399.

Comedian Joe was quick to respond to the news following his extensively publicized appearance on the BBC’s new flagship politics show, during which he mockingly described himself as “very right-wing” and humorously praised Ms. Truss.

‘Yes @trussliz absolutely smashed it babe!!!’ he tweeted.

Martin Lewis, a money-saving expert, urged Ms. Truss to respond “speedily” to the crisis caused by rising living expenses.

‘Congratulations @trussliz on your new role as Prime Minister,’ he said. ‘Right now, we need good, empathetic, speedy, responsible leadership to prevent crisis I (& I hope most) want to wish you all strength and judgment to do the right job, fit for the times, for the UK people and the nation.’

BREAKING: Liz Truss has been named as the new prime minister of Britain, said, Piers Morgan. After willingly accepting the largest hospital pass in contemporary political history, I wish her the best.

When talking about the Pop Idol 2002 final between Will Young and Gareth Gates, Richard Osman chimed in and said, “It’s not quite Will v Gareth is it?”

Nish Kumar continued, “At least Sunak is having a s**t day,” in the meantime.

After the competition started in July, Sir Graham Brady revealed the results today.

When Boris Johnson resigns tomorrow, Ms. Truss, who is presently the foreign secretary, will be elevated to become prime minister.

She will get the keys to Number 10, becoming the third woman to hold the position in the UK after Theresa May and Margaret Thatcher.

Tomorrow, Ms. Truss will fly to Balmoral, where she will meet Boris Johnson for a transfer of power and have a meeting with the Queen.

Later that evening, she will give a speech to the nation in which she will express her gratitude to Tory party supporters for their support and lay out her expectations for her term in office.

Following his dramatic debut on Kuenssberg’s new show, Joe made headlines.

When Laura questioned Joe on Liz Truss’ current political standing, Joe replied, “I suppose the haters will argue that we’ve had 12 years of the Tories and that we’re sort of at the dregs of what they’ve got available and that Liz Truss is the backwash of the available MPs.”

‘Some people would say that, but I wouldn’t because I’m really right-wing.’

Laura said that the political “consensus” is frequently incorrect and that we don’t know how things will turn out. Joe talked about “predicting the future.”

“As Liz remarked there, it would be incorrect to make predictions about the future, even if many have said that we will face significant difficulties in paying our energy bills. However, I believe she is correct when she says, “Let’s wait and see what occurs next week.” I believe she made the proper decision there!

There’s a serious point, Joe, Laura said as she tried to persuade him to shed his façade. She said there will be a sizable amount of assistance arriving this week to help individuals pay their obligations.
