Halloween Ends Images further tease the final battle between Laurie Strode and Michael Myers

Several new images from the upcoming horror sequel, Halloween Ends, tease the final battle between Michael Myers aka The Shape and Laurie Strode. Produced by Film total the new images show Myers wielding his trusty blade again, with Halloween Ends was to bring the legacy trilogy to its inevitable and bloody conclusion. Halloween Ends is ready to resume four years after the events of last year Halloween tue. Laurie Strode now lives with her granddaughter Allyson and is finishing her memoir. Meanwhile, Michael Myers has not been seen since his last brutal rampage. Laurie, after decades of letting the specter of Michael determine and drive her reality, has decided to free herself from fear and rage and embrace life. But when a young man, Corey Cunningham, is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, it unleashes a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally face the evil she cannot control, once and for all. all.

The highly anticipated slasher finale will see franchise staple Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode for the final time, with Halloween Ends should end the decade-long conflict between the babysitter turned survivalist and serial killer Michael Myers, who will again be played by James Jude Courtney and Nick Castle.

“By the time you meet Laurie Strode, she’s got help,” Curtis revealed in a chat with Total Film. “Helps deal with the level of violence that has been perpetrated against her and her family. She did the job. And there’s a moment early in the movie where you actually meet Laurie – I’m not going to say she’s as innocent as she was when she was 17 – but she has a layer of hope about her . It’s a beautiful place to start a truly tragic and incredibly violent ending.

The rest of the cast consists of Andi Matichak as Allyson Nelson, Laurie’s granddaughter; Will Patton as Deputy Frank Hawkins; Rohan Campbell as Corey Cunningham; Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace, one of the children Laurie babysat in 1978; Michael O’Leary as Dr. Mathis; and Omar Dorsey as Sheriff Barker.

Director David Gordon Green is still working on the end of Halloween Ends

Whereas Halloween Ends finished production, director David Gordon Green revealed he was still fine-tuning the ending. “It changes every day,” the filmmaker revealed. “In theory the picture is locked, but this morning I called the editor and said, ‘What if we did this one thing…’ I’m speaking with John [Carpenter] and Jamie Lee Curtis talk about it regularly. It’s exciting, uncertain, satisfying and sad. Enjoyed the ride but it’s probably time to get off. I think we’re going out with a bang.

Directed by David Gordon Green and written by Green, Danny McBride, Paul Brad Logan and Chris Bernier, Halloween Ends is scheduled to be released on October 14, 2022 by Universal Pictures. The slasher release will also simulcast on paid tiers of Peacock for 60 days.
