Doctors Monitoring The Queen’s Health And Show Concern

According to Buckingham Palace, the Queen is being monitored by doctors at Balmoral after they expressed worry for her health.

She is joined in Balmoral by her son Prince Charles, daughter-in-law Camilla, and grandson Prince William.

The Queen’s three children, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward, are reportedly all traveling to her residence in the Scottish Highlands.

A day after appointing Liz Truss as prime minister, the 96-year-old head of state resigned from a fictitious Privy Council on Wednesday after physicians told her to take it easy.

‘Following additional assessment this morning, the Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have suggested she remain under medical observation,’ a palace official said.

The Queen is still relaxed and in Balmoral.

“I know I speak on behalf of the entire House when I say that we extend our best wishes to Her Majesty the Queen and that she and the royal family are in our thoughts and prayers at this moment,” Commons Speaker Sir Lindsay Hoyle said during a break in the Commons.

The country as a whole will be quite troubled by the news out of Buckingham Palace this lunchtime, according to the next prime minister Liz Truss.

My thoughts, as well as those of the citizens of the United Kingdom, are currently with Her Majesty The Queen and her family.

During the historic audience with Ms. Truss on Tuesday, the country’s longest-reigning queen, who has persistent mobility challenges, appeared bright but fragile and needed a walking stick.

It came when the departing prime minister, Boris Johnson, visited to give his resignation.

The leader of Labour, Sir Keir Starmer, expressed his “great concern” over the reports coming out of Buckingham Palace and expressed optimism for the Queen’s recovery.

He wrote, “I am profoundly concerned by the news from Buckingham Palace this afternoon, along with the rest of the country.

“At this time, my thoughts are with Her Majesty the Queen and her family, and I join the entire United Kingdom in praying for her recovery,” he said.

The First Minister of Wales, Mark Drakeford, expressed the people of Wales’ “warmest wishes to Her Majesty and her family.”

First Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon declared: “Reports of Her Majesty’s health are deeply concerning to all of us.”

“At this moment, my thoughts and prayers are with the Queen and the entire royal family,” the speaker said.

After the Queen’s health issues were reported, the royal family website appeared to break down.

The error message “Gateway time-out” flashed on the screen.

The “prayers of the nation,” according to the Archbishop of Canterbury, are for the Queen.

‘My prayers, and the prayers of people across the (Church of England) and the nation, are with Her Majesty The Queen today,’ Justin Welby tweeted.

‘May God’s presence strengthen and comfort Her Majesty, her family, and those who are caring for her at Balmoral.’
