Published with the kind permission of the official Twitter account of violent night, gruff-looking Saint Nick of Habour will be called into action when a band of mercenaries kidnap a family on Christmas Eve. You better watch out, and from the look of Harbor Santa Claus, you’re probably going to cry. Displaying the same intense and deadly star he expertly used in the likes of stranger things et Black Widow, Harbor makes a surprisingly intimidating figure. A feeling of intimidation that can’t even be sweetened by the presence of a bright red Santa hat and a candy cane.

From the creators of John Wick come violent night who throws stranger things et Hellboy star David Harbor as Santa Claus. But, rather than the cherub-cheeked Santa you’ve seen on countless Christmas cards, this one has a vicious side. A vicious streak he will demonstrate to those who are foolish enough to try and ruin someone’s holiday season. Described as a “black coal holiday thriller that says you should always bet on red”, violent night begins when a group of mercenaries attack the estate of a wealthy family on Christmas Eve, forcing Santa Claus to put down his sack and save Christmas. Directed by Tommy Wirkola (The journey, dead snow) from an original screenplay written by Pat Casey and Josh Miller, violent night stars John Leguizamo, Beverly D’Angelo, Alex Hassell, Alexis Louder, Edi Patterson, Cam Gigandet and André Eriksen alongside David Harbor as Santa Claus.

Although we have yet to see any footage of violent nightDavid Harbor managed to rock the hype train quite convincingly, comparing the action flick to another Christmas action classic: die hard. “Escape is great. I am a big fan. But what about movies that make you sweat? Don’t like action movies? Harbor said during her CinemaCon appearance. “Who doesn’t love a great action movie, right? How about Christmas movies? So what about a movie that’s a great action movie and the greatest Christmas movie rolled into one? Die Hard. F- I’m dying of Die Hard.

He went on to say, “Now, what if…wait a minute, wait a minute.
