Avengers Campus Ride Will Feature Multiverse Battle, Concept Art Reveals New Look At Daredevil, And More

With stunning concept art for a new multiverse ride at Disney California Adventure, Roy Thanoswe now have our first look at several new characters and their looks in the MCU, including the likes of Daredevil, werewolf of the night, et Man-Thing. Revealed by the official Avengers Twitter account and announced during D23, Roy Thanos find an army of superhero variants battling a version of Thanos who won the Infinity War.

Roy Thanos is described as “an all-new multiversal threat designed exclusively for Avengers Campus at Disneyland.” The Mad Titan will be the primary threat in this “unreleased third attraction with an all-new story” as part of the Avengers Campus Experience at Disney California Adventure Park.

“Avengers Campus at Disneyland Resort will head into the multiverse with a third attraction with an all-new story! When you join the battle with the Avengers, you never know what enemies you will face from anywhere and at any time. More to come on this third attraction in the future here on the Disney Parks Blog,” Kevin Feige announced at the D23 Expo.

“It’s a Thanos who won [the Infinity War]and the Avengers aren’t too happy about that,” added Josh D’Amaro, president of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products.

While Thanos was defeated following a heroic sacrifice made by Tony Stark in the main MCU timeline, The Mad Titan won in the pages of Marvel Comics during the arc, Thanos wins. Released in 2018 and written by Donny Cates, Thanos wins explores a world in which Thanos has emerged victorious and must do battle with a host of familiar characters, each of whom have undergone a few changes. Including a Mjölnir-wielding Silver Surfer and a Cosmic Ghost Rider.

Daredevil, Werewolf By Night, Man-Thing, and More Spotted in King Thanos Concept Art

While details of who King Thanos will fight have yet to be fully revealed, concept art offers new looks at several up-and-coming characters, including Night werewolf, man-thingan animated Peter Parker Spider-Man: Year One, and a red suit daredevil.

The daredevil The reveal is likely to be the most exciting for many, with the image seemingly confirming that Marvel’s vigilante will be ditching the red and yellow ensemble of She-Hulk: attorney of law and once again, don the red outfit first seen in the hugely popular Netflix series.

Roy Thanos is just one of many major reveals made at D23, along with the first images from the upcoming Disney+ special, night werewolf, offering our first look at the hammer horror outing in black and white. While it’s unclear what role the character will play in the MCU, her inclusion in the Roy Thanos artwork at least shows that he and the Man-Thing will feature in the franchise going forward.

Roy Thanosa Multiverse variant designed for Avengers Campus does not yet have a release date but was described as “coming soon” during D23. night werewolf meanwhile, is set to release on Disney+ on October 7, 2022, with Daredevil: Born Again release scheduled for spring 2024.
