The newly married couple celebrated their marriage with a fairytale wedding ceremony in August in front of all of their children and loved ones, despite having officially wed earlier this year in Las Vegas.
The weeks leading up to the wedding were undoubtedly not easy; Jen revealed to followers that they had all fallen ill with stomach flu, it had rained every day, and there had been thunder and lightning.
“The reality is, I never had a doubt,” she said. I was confident and at ease the entire week knowing that we were in God’s hands.

She said, “We weren’t just marrying each other; we were marrying these kids into a new family,” and she expressed how happy she was that all five of the kids wanted to be in their wedding party.

JLo continued, calling the date of the wedding “ideal” for them.
Nothing has ever felt more right to me, and I knew we were finally “settling down” in a way you can only do when you comprehend loss and joy and you are battle tested enough to never take the important things for granted or let the silly insignificant nuisances of the day get in the way of embracing every precious moment,’ she said, adding that the night was ‘heaven’.
The family gathered for breakfast by the lake the day after the wedding, and Jen shared some information on the decor, calling it “down-home, rustic country-chic.”
Years ago, she said, “we had no idea the journey ahead would need navigating through so many labyrinths and hold so many surprises, joys, and delights.”
“This was the pinnacle of it all—one of the most beautiful moments of our life.” We couldn’t be more content. I’m sending the same kind of joy to everyone. the difficult sort that is sweeter because of the struggle that came before it.
While their wedding day was small and private the second time around, they went all out for a lavish ceremony at their 87-acre, $8.9 million (£7.3 million) Georgia estate.
