While it’s been almost 30 years since we saw Eddie Murphy tossing on a Detroit Lions jacket and stepping back into the role of his Beverly Hills Cop character, Axl Foley, the actor is officially back in business. Since we got the production start date a month back, we are waiting for some first look from the sets Beverly Hills Cop 4, which is ready for Netflix, and with today’s photos, we have exactly that. The image, which you can see above, shows Axel Foley of Murphy not only with his recognizable jacket on, but behind the wheel of a police car.
While we can’t tell you what the plot of the filming feature is now, we can tell that several other members of the Beverly Hills cop family will return to the fold and head to the sunny, palm-tree streets of California. The film saw Murphy’s Foley travel from his home in Detroit to Beverly Hills in hopes of solving a crime. A detective with a penchant for and a reputation for doing things his own way, comedic hijinks came quickly to Foley and his associates.
