Captain Marvel Wishes Iman Vellani a Happy Birthday

Recently checked Ms. Marvel star Iman Vellani’s 20th birthday, showing up after her hit Disney+ finished its most memorable season. Marvel fans have previously gone gaga for her in the MCU and can hardly hang tight for her next appearance, which apparently will not be until the following year’s component film The Marvels. Not exclusively will that film be a development to the TV series however it will work as a continuation of the Captain Marvel film and WandaVision, bringing Vellani’s Kamala Khan, Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau, and Brie Larson‘s Carol Danvers all together for one story. In another Instagram post, Larson honored Vellani, stirring up Marvel fans’ fervor for the pair’s possible on-screen meeting.

“Blissful late birthday to my Billy Joel cherishing, croc wearing, shrewd past years genius companion,” Larson wrote in her subtitle, going with a photograph of the two together. “May we sing Hamilton as loud as possible for a long time to come.” As fans might review, the post-credit scene for the Ms. Marvel finale saw Vellani’s Kamala Khan and Larson’s Carol Danvers trade places, with the latter showing up in the room of the youthful legend. It is not yet clear precisely how this occurred and even better where Kamala wound up, yet the responses will show up the following year.

“It was a night shoot when they were reporting everything at Disney Investor Day,” Vellani recently enlightened Variety concerning looking into her spot in the film. “Just before they declared The Marvels cast, I get a text from Disney PR, I get a text from Brie Larson and I get a text from our makers all simultaneously expressing I’m in the film and afterward they reported it on the screen. I was like, ‘Thank you.’ I suspected I would have been in it, yet, even more, an appearance job, not a genuine fundamental person, so it was cool.”

Candyman chief Nia DaCosta will step behind the camera for the film. Talking in another meeting, Vellani said that her experience on the component film could never have been more not the same as the Disney+ series, telling Empire:

“It was totally astounding, something else entirely. You have a similar measure of shooting time nearly to film significantly less happy, so everything was looser. What’s more, Brie and Teyonah were the most astounding emotionally supportive network, just to have individuals who have similar agonies from doing stunts. We were simply crying together. It’s marvelous.”

Additionally featuring Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and MCU rookie Zawe Ashton in a detestable job, Vellani repeats her breakout job as Kamala Khan when Marvel Studios’ The Marvels opens in theaters on July 28, 2023.
