AJ Bunker, a Love Island star, claimed she had “lost faith in men” when her previous lover failed to disclose his covert employment as a “gay porn star.”
The reality TV celebrity participated in the ITV2 dating program in 2021 and attempted a romance with Hugo Hammond, a fellow islander, before being booted out of the villa.
Since then, 28-year-old AJ has had bad luck finding love and has given up on the hope she had following her most recent relationship.
The former hair extension specialist talked about how she adopted a two-year vow of celibacy but started seeing a man who wasn’t quite honest about his line of work.
“My romantic life is over, and I just learned that the last person I dated watched gay porn,” I said. So, yes,’ AJ replied.
She said, “The first guy I broke my celibacy to does homosexual porn, so that’s my life,” to OK! Magazine.
As she was “done with f**k boys” and desired to make a “real connection with someone,” AJ revealed why she made the decision to abstain from having sex.
The TV personality admitted: “Then this guy lied to me about his work and his automobile.” Even worse, he lacks a license.
“I no longer have faith in men.” I didn’t connect with anyone on Love Island, and I haven’t met anyone since the show, so it didn’t help at all.
She explained how her ex-deceit boyfriend’s had a long-lasting impact on her dating life because she now finds it difficult to trust guys romantically.
AJ gave further details about her ordeal, including the fact that her ex claimed to be a model, run a business coaching football, and even composed music for OneRepublic. However, as she dug deeper, she was unable to uncover any proof of his purported occupations.
She admitted to The Sun that it was traumatic.
