Yami Gautam’s ‘Lost’ to premiere at Chicago South Asian Film Festival

Investigative drama thriller ‘Lost’ directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury has been officially selected as the opening night premiere film at the Chicago South Asian Film Festival and it is a big moment for the director. The Chicago South Asian Film Festival is the largest annual South Asian event that celebrates fine storytelling.

Lost is an emotional social thriller that represents a higher pursuit, an exploration of the lost values ​​of empathy and integrity. Inspired by true events, Lost is the story of a bright young female crime reporter who is in a relentless search for the truth behind the sudden disappearance of a young theater worker.

When asked about the film’s selection as the opening night premiere film, the cast expressed their feelings and eagerness for its release. Expressing his excitement about the film’s inclusion in the festival and its subsequent release, Anirudh said, “I am really proud to have the film’s world premiere at such a renowned film festival. Shooting for Lost has been an incredible journey.

Anirudh said, I am looking forward to the release of my hard-working project. The film is a realistic highlight of the media in a social context and I am sure it will give a fascinating moment to the audience. The film’s cast includes Yami Gautam Dhar as a crime reporter. With Yami in the intriguing drama, the film will feature Pankaj Kapur, Rahul Khanna and a slew of young talents including Neil Bhoopalam, Piya Bajpayee and Tushar Pandey in lead roles. The story is written by Shyamal Sengupta and Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, the screenplay is penned by Shyamal Sengupta, and the dialogues are penned by Ritesh Shah respectively.
