Rishi Kapoor had gone into depression due to ‘debt’, had to be admitted to the hospital

Bollywood veteran Rishi Kapoor may have said goodbye to the world, but his fans still remember him. Born on 4 September 1952 in Mumbai, he started his career as a child artist. Rishi Kapoor had made a lot of place in the hearts of fans with his style and films.

Rishi Kapoor entertained people with his films for decades. But Rishi Kapoor went into depression due to one of his films ‘Debt’. Not only this, due to depression, he had to be admitted to the hospital as well. Rishi Kapoor’s film was unsuccessful at the box office.

The director of the film Subhash Ghai had disclosed this during the interview. He had told that on the day of Karz’s release, I had reached the single screen theater along with my assistant to see the crowd of the audience. The film got opening with 20 percent collection. During that time Rishi Kapoor did not receive Subhash Ghai’s call on Friday and Saturday.

Subhash Ghai had told that on Sunday I came to know that Rishi is in depression and he has been admitted to the hospital. He worked hard on every single scene of the film. Not only this, before the release, he also showed preview shows to his friends.

Subhash had further told that after this incident he had to take the help of Rishi’s father. Subhash Ghai tells that no show did so well, then he took the help of Raj Kapoor and explained to Rishi that even though it did not earn, but we had made a good film.
