Hansal Mehta’s ‘Faraj’ to be screened at London Film Festival 2022

Bollywood filmmaker Hansal Mehta’s film ‘Faraaz’ has been selected for the BFI London Film Festival 2022. Hansal Mehta has given this information through his social media account.

Hansal Mehta’s film ‘Faraj’ is based on the 2016 Holy Artesian Cafe attack in Bangladesh, which shook Bangladesh. The story of the film narrates the events in Dhaka, where five young terrorists, one night, ransacked a cafe and held over 50 people hostage for 12 hours.

The film has been written by Ritesh Shah, Kashyap Kapoor and Raghav Raj Kakkar. The film stars Jahan Kapoor and Aditya Rawal in lead roles. The film is produced by Sahil Sehgal, Sakshi Bhatt and Mazahir Mandsaurwala of Mahana Films, produced by director Anubhav Sinha and producer Bhushan Kumar.
