While male wrestlers initially struggle to counter their female opponents, they eventually manage to get the upper hand when the masked Man M becomes frustrated with the fight and proceeds to travel on the vacuum fat, causing him to Crashes violently, leaving the spectator standing next to the ring. ,
Since the victory was unintentional, the pair fled the stadium to escape the wrath of their manager. Romeo then makes his way to the orphanage he operates and proceeds to greet all the children who await his return. The facility’s staff introduce Romeo to Sister Juliet, a nun and an expert in psychology. Later that night, Romeo receives a call from his boss, who informs him that Lady S has requested a rematch where the winner will receive $50,000 in prize money.
However, as the no-holds-barred death match begins, the masked Man M is brutally tossed, slapped and squeezed to the point where he begins to hallucinate violently. The wrestler is then forced to decide between indulging in his sexual fantasies or continuing the match so that he can help the underprivileged children he cares for. While Masked Man M eventually loses the fight, he chooses the children over his own pleasures and wins the respect of his rival. After spending some time in the hospital, Romeo returns to the orphanage, and to his surprise it is under repair. To her shock, Sister Juliet is none other than Lady S, and has donated the money from the fight to the orphanage.
From the opening of the short, it is clear that Romeo Maki takes pleasure in being hurt. The epitome of falling in love during his initial battle with Lady S is not due to his pure interest, but to what he is able to offer her: a fix for his sexual addiction. When his fellow chicken is being slapped by Lady S, the masked man M is immediately infatuated and desperate to take his place. When Lady S is tagged for vacuum fat, the masked Man M is immediately dismayed. While he still receives the punishment he wants, it is not from the person he finds sexually attractive.
Left unsatisfied with that night’s efforts, Romeo continues to seek the pleasure (or more appropriately, pain) he seeks. On his way to the orphanage, he runs into a vending machine that distributes pornography and buys a BDSM-themed magazine. Eventually, Romeo manages to overcome his desires and face the reality of his situation – his mother will never return. Lady S, a hermit, fails in her goal of establishing dominance over her mate, but in the process gains a new respect for Romeo, as he did something he hadn’t expected. As a result, she donates money to the orphanage as a sign of their mutual understanding.
In-spite of this kick-heart Being a spectacle adventure, it manages to offer some profound commentary on the psychological state of those who enter into sadomasochistic partnerships. It’s a shame Production IG’s Kickstarter was unable to get enough funding to develop a feature-length film where these characters could be explored in more depth. Masked Man M and Lady S are both charming figures that, while they don’t speak often, remain both visceral and easily recognizable.
