World Premiere of BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War PV expose at Anime Expo.
VIZ Media presented the world’s first trailer for Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War at Anime Expo and the new key art for the anime is due to arrive in October 2022.
Anime Network reported that the trailer focuses primarily on the Stern Ritter characters. This anime will be based upon the “Thousand Year Blood War” arc of Tite Kubo’s manga.
Kubo appeared as a guest on Bleach’s Anime Expo panel. He said that viewers can expect “modern contemporary coloring and a refreshing viewing experience with new anime.”
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will air on TV Tokyo’s October 1st and VIZ Media will release the series in English.
The story will be the last arc of manga volumes 55-74. Additionally, the returning cast will include characters who didn’t appear originally in anime but will reprise their roles in Bleach: Brave Souls.
Bleach manga first appeared in Weekly Shonen Jump on January 1, 2001. It was discontinued in 2016. The anime adaptation of Bleach was a success. It ran for 366 episodes between 2001 and 2012. There were also four films, two OVAs, novellas, stage plays, and even, a live-action movie that was released in 2018.
